Cheater Leader Pads were invented for the sole purpose of the fisherman. Just like yourself, I was going on a freshwater fishing trip. I wanted to pre-tie all my leader lines so I could spend more time fishing. So, I went home to my garage and found some cork and walnut, did some milling and gluing... Bingo! The Cheater Leader Pad was born. I still have the first orginal Cheater Leader Pad which is over 20 years old and still good for another 20 years to come. There are three sizes to choose from, small, medium, and large. Great for all hooks of any kind.

Cheater Leader Spools were invented when a shark fisherman asked me if I had something to hold his steel cable leader lines that were 8 to 12 feet long, with a giant squidder at the end. Again, I went back home to the garage and came up with a design and doubled the cork... Bingo! The Cheater Leader Spool was born. There are 2 sizes, small and large. The small spools are great for freshwater leader lines of any length or gang hooks of any kind. The large spool are great for all big game saltwater fishing lures, jigs, and steel cable leader lines of any length.
